1. US aspirations during the Cold War: The US had lost a lot during world war 2, it lost a lot of men and it lost a lot of money, it lost a lot of money by funding small western countries to defend against the Nazis and the Soviet Union. But after world war 2 the US wanted its money back from the Europeans, most of the countries that owed the US do not have more the 10% the amount they owe. The US made the marshal plan ton restore the economy for Europe and to push away Bolshevism, and it worked 2. USSR aspirations during the Cold War: The USSR had a lot of power it had the land the president Roosevelt gave them(Eastern Europe), they had the strongest army(The Red Army) and money. The USSR's goal during the Cold War was to spread Bolshevism, they had that master plan that when the small European countries are not dieing but they are dead, Bolshevism will appear and help them rise again by joining the Soviet Union. With the marshal plan, all there plans were Thrown away, the USSR and the US started fighting under the curtains but eventually they fought above the curtains. 3. Implications during the Cold War for the third world: Well South America was watching the world fight from there houses and Canada helped but with a little little bit, Japan was fighting china but they were fighting the US at the same time, Africa was under the occupation of the Europeans and Australia was under the occupation of Great Britain.
